Our approach

Higher Ground was engaged to refresh the global digital brand experience for JCB by providing a template design used in over 16 countries and receiving over 500,000 visits per month from search.

We creating a responsive framework and enhanced sales enquiry mechanism. Both these core objectives were designed to empower JCB and increase sales potential from their suite of global websites.

The challenge

No easy task, the JCB digital evolution required the consolidation of more than 500 existing products and a host of systemic integration between a range of legacy platforms.

User Experience Design was critical and required a whole new information architecture, new responsive brand stying and universal interaction design.

All wireframes were presented to senior board members and design components applied to a SiteCore, component–based CMS.

JCB SEO strategy

We also consulted on their global digital marketing strategy. Taking JCB Australia from 8,000 visits per month to 12,000 from SEO with benchmark keywords 'large excavator' and 'mini excavator'.

JCB PPC strategy

While also in Sydney, we ran a cost-effective, lean and nationwide PPC campaign over the course of 12 months. In the first two months we saw a huge increase in leads from targeted keywords.

Dealer standards iPad application

JCB Dealerships across the globe have standards to maintain. All are assessed by leadership team.

We designed a totally custom scoring application that enabled senior management to review regional dealerships on a dash and perform audits on the field.
