Higher Ground were invited to design a brand new website with big ambitions.

Sales of printed magazine have all been on the slide since digital. This site needed to generate lots of revenue and hit the ground running.

The core goals of Beauty Crew users are: Read, Review, Share, Try.

We achieved this by combining high quality articles, written by celebrity make-up experts, with ecommerce products offered at relevant at stratgic stages of the customer journey. Example: if the look is ‘smokey eye’ the instructional piece showcased all products needed to achieve the look at the correct stage of the customer journey.

Our conversion rate optimisation specialists had a plan. We devised user personas, user stories for each persona, customer journey mapping, journey risk analysis, information architecture, wireframing through to design and development.
